PARENT VOLUNTEERS
All non-profit student activities (athletic teams, chorus groups, church groups) require an extensive volunteer work force. The West Virginia Youth Symphony is no exception. We realize parents of student musicians are interested in providing their children with a quality musical education and performance experience. Obviously, parents contribute to the quality of the experience by providing tuition and making sure their children arrive at rehearsals and concerts prepared and in a timely manner. Additionally, throughout the year all parents will be asked to assist our organization by preparing food for rehearsals and/or concerts and assisting with one of two mass mailings during the season.

Recognizing that all families have a variety of gifts, talents and time schedules, the West Virginia Youth symphony offers a wide variety of other volunteer opportunities for parents. Each of the volunteer positions listed below is extremely critical to the smooth operation of the West Virginia Youth Symphony.
