European Tour 2012

We are very excited to announce the third European concert tour of the West Virginia Youth Orchestra which will take place in June, 2012. This tour will feature a visit to Charleston's charming sister city, Banska Bystrica (pronounced b-street-sa) in the heart of Solvakia, and a joint performance with the Conservatory of Music there. The tour begins in Budapest and ends in Vienna with trips in between to Krakow, Poland, and Eisenstadt, Austria. Details about the tour will be available by the end of January, 2011.

Youth Strings and Youth Orchestra musicians are all invited on the tour. Recent alumni of the Orchestra will be invited to travel and perform as well. We hope to have a strong orchestra to tour internationally!
